Could an economic collapse occur and what would likely happen if so?

An event causing an economic collapse is very possible at this time.  What would happen?  Most likely complete and utter chaos.   Why?  Because such an event would cause a cascade worldwide from the very top to the very bottom.

Each year the government debt spending is $18 + trillion as they have told the public.  However that is an outright lie.   Why?  Because the actual debt is well over $120 trillion!  What they are not telling you is that the $18 trillion does not include future bond payments, interest payments, entitlement programs that must be paid, loan paybacks and more.  It does not include things like social security, disability payments, and the big, welfare.   And of course now we also must add obamacare to that list..

Now some of you still might not think it is such a bad thing..  well do the math.  Each year the country takes in $6.1 trillion TOTAL.  In other words our 'paycheck' each year for the country is $6.1 trillion but the politicians SPEND $18+ trillion a year...  As I said, do the math.

So how can it be fixed?   It cannot.  We are way past any point now of 'fixing' it.   They would have to basically shut down the entire government for a couple decades to pay it off and clear the books.  Not an option obviously.

How about more taxes?  Not only have they pretty much regulated and taxed everything now they are increasing those very quietly behind your back.   Did you know on 1 Jan 2015, just two weeks ago, they increased a number of taxes?   Did you know they very secretly added these additions into the obamacare bill and that is when and how they passed it?   Did you know that just one of those new changes is the estate tax?   From 0% to a whopping 55% tax on all of us when we die.

That means you heirs will get pretty much nothing because the government will first take out their 55% chunk before anything else is taken care of.  And that is just ONE of the changes/additions.

There is only one way they could ever fix it.   A complete and utter wipe of the system... basically a clean slate wipe.   And that would be a complete and total collapse of the economy, the country and the Constitution with an end goal that is two fold.. A major reduction of the U.S. population and in essence a clean wipe of the monetary system so they can just start over.

Now I agree this sounds like something that is out there, like something that just cannot happen.  But sit back and think about it for a bit.  You have people in positions of control and power that each and every day keep more secrets from all of us than you could ever imagine.  They can move the pieces, make plans for anything conceivable and they have control of pretty much all the resources we the people need to survive on.  And we all know they and the corporations are in bed together.  We all know that almost every politician in Washington DC is taking and getting outright bribes.  What do you think all those lobbyists are for?  They make the deals that make the politicians rich.   Don't believe me?   Do your own research.  Look up one fact and then you decide.   Look up how many of those politicians were multi-millionaires with multiple homes, assets and more BEFORE then went to Washington DC.  Then look at how many of them are now and even after they leave.  And if they were before, take a look at what their worth was before entering office and again after leaving.  When you consider that their income is around $150,000 as a politician a year paid from taxpayers pockets as their salary, it begs the question where did all that money come from they now suddenly have?

So how can they fix it?  Collapsing the system.   They make plans to protect themselves and what is theirs, make plans for after the event and then initiate an event that collapses the system.  And they expect once things calm down, they will come out of their hidey holes and take control and pick up the pieces.

Here is a basic timeline in such a situation:

1)  Some event occurs that causes the U.S. large corporations and large banks to default or lose value over a matter of days.
2)  The government closes the banks due to the worry of a civilian 'run on the banks'.. i.e. people all at once rushing to get their money out of the bank.  No banks open, no money available for food, fuel or anything else.
3)  Those that have money will clean out the stores, gas stations and anything else with what money they have.
4)  Those who were not able to get any money will become angry and more desperate as each day passes.
5)  At some point it will also become known that all those who rely on disability payments, social security payments, Veterans benefits and most serious, those on welfare, will NOT be getting any money because there is none for the government to give.
6)  Companies will stop shipping goods.  Trucks, trains and aircraft will cease shipments due to lack of money to buy fuel, materials and goods.  Stores will have only what they have on the shelves and once that is gone, there will be a long wait for more.  In essence commerce will come to a screeching halt.   People will stop going to work since the companies no longer have access to any money to pay them.  The infrastructure starts to have issues.. electricity plants shut down, communication, airline, ship and rail stop running, and so on.
7)  Within a couple days riots will start, at first against the government.
8)  Shortly thereafter looting of stores, homes and businesses will start.
9)  Within this period, martial law will be declared and the national guard most likely deployed.  In addition we will see the suspension of many freedoms including free speech, right to bear arms and much more per presidential executive orders ALREADY signed today and on the books.  I would bet they go so far as to also use the clause that allows posse comitatus to be suspended so they can use active duty military in our own streets... something expressly forbidden by the Constitution.
10)  Many people will rise up and resist martial law and we will most likely start to see the beginnings of a major uprising and/or civil war as people start to fight the oppression of declared martial law
11) as things continue further into chaos, those that never wanted or were totally blind to anything like this happening will become victims of the looters, gangs and scavengers. And believe it or not they will continue to deny it is really happening, will continue to believe the government will come and save them and basically refuse to accept any of this is real even as they are being stabbed, shot, raped and otherwise killed in their homes by these marauding gangs of thugs.   Attacks, rapes, murders, slavery.. you name it will become common.

These same people will also start turning on their neighbors who did prepare demanding that they share what they have 'for the better good of all' and that they need to allow their supplies to be distributed enmasse to everyone... which of course people like me will say, go to hell.  Because they were stupid enough to not prepare they think they have the right to just go and take from those that did prepare.  Which of course is not going to happen.   You will see many attempts then at people trying to force someone to give up what they have... and you will see many people die in these situations.

12)  After this, a huge die off will start.  Not only from roving gangs but from disease, lack of food and water and viruses running unchecked from lack of medical treatment.  Depending on the time of year will also determine the speed of the die off.  Winter will kill millions in that first year.

Of course government officials will hunker down in protective emplacements stocked with supplies to wait it out.  Why?  Because they are fully aware that there is no way at all possible they can support and supply our population.

Some people think the government has stockpiles of food and water for just such a situation... WRONG.   The government does have stockpiles.  Somewhere in the range of 350 million to 500 million MRE's (Meals Ready to Eat) possibly are stored by our government.   And that may sound like a lot.   Do the math!

If just New York has 25 million people, divide that into the above number and how many meals do you get then for just that group?   There are 320+ million people in our country.  Even IF the government had 500 million MRE's stored, that is only 1.5 meals for everyone...  And how do you expect the government to hand them out?

No, the government will not be able to do anything at all except wait it out.  And when the die off subsides to a point they feel now leaves a manageable population, they will come out of their hidey holes and attempt to re-institute their new idea of a government and government control.   And for those of us left at that point, we will have to decide one thing... do we allow it or do we fight to retain what we had and the ideals of the Constitution we were given by those that founded this country?

Some of you reading this will still shake your heads, say it is not possible, make comments that call me nuts, delusional, and so forth.   However it is not I that is delusional. It is you.  Living in a mentality where none of this could ever happen is your delusion.  Thinking your little world you live in each day is untouchable is delusional.  Your mentality of "it won't happen to me" will be your undoing.

There are many that in the past would have said hitler doing what he did was not possible or stalin.  Many would have said the stuff we see islamic nutcases doing would never happen.  Many in the past before WWII started scoffed at the idea of Pearl Harbor ever happening not to mention the idea of something like 9/11 being able to take place.    So many people seem to be living in the rabbit hole, in what I call the normalcy bias.  So ingrained in their little lives they refuse to see, accept, believe or acknowledge that anything like I describe could ever occur.  They seem to forget how small our little planet is in the scheme of things.  How very small we are when taken in the universe and the circle of life as a whole.  We are but a grain of sand on a beach that is so huge it cannot be comprehended in the overall randomness of existence.

Yes, the planet has been here a long time. And we know extinction level events have occurred before.  What I do not get is how people can think that because it already happened that it cannot happen again!   That is like saying just because you had a car accident you cannot have another or just because you had a heart attack it cannot happen again.  While we are in danger of some external event once again smacking the earth and causing such an event, barring that I think today our most serious threat is right here at home and is being caused by our very own government.   And keep in mind that this economic event would not just claim the U.S. proper.  No, it would impact the entire planet.  Everything is connected in the financial world and the U.S. is still the main linchpin of it all.  The one part holding it all together.  You collapse this one part and the rest of the world will collapse like domino's.

And what you do not realize is IF you do wake up after the fact, you will not find your fellow man to be as reasonable or open to 'sharing what they have' as you surely expect.  No, you will find out the hard way what hunger and being without does to a person first hand.  And if you are lucky enough to somehow survive for a while, eventually you too will become just as they are... and willing to do whatever it takes to survive.

I am not a big time prepper or survivalist nor am I some conspiracy nut.   What I am however is a U.S. Navy veteran and an American that using just a bit of common sense can see the writing on the wall.   The politicians continue to lie to us.  They continue to paint these rosy pictures of all is well.  But it is not!  They are buying time because they know damn well that if and when the truth finally does wake people up, there will be hell to pay and chaos will rein.. and there will be nothing that can be done to stop it.   I shake my head every day as I watch people just accept what they are told, nod their heads and move on in their daily lives.   Most people know what I am saying here is true.  The problem is there are not enough of us with the balls to stand up and do something substantial about it.  And the politicians know this.  

They keep us divided on purpose for this very reason.   They are doing everything they can to keep the public from demanding a change, demanding a major shift in how things are done.   They know first there is nothing that can be done.  And they also know second, that one of those changes would be them booted out of office in entirety and an entire new group and new way of serving would be put in place.

As long as they can keep us dancing to their bullshit, they can keep everything from just collapsing outright.  The question is, are Americans going to just continue to avert their eyes, allow the lies to continue and let them continue to bury this country by destroying the Constitution or are Americans going to one of these days finally step up and say NO MORE, regardless of the consequences or what it causes?  

I am afraid any kind of major change and shakeup forced by we the people on the government will also collapse the system.  So it is not a question of how to do it or when to do it.  It is a question of accepting that it must be done regardless of the overall consequences.   The system will collapse and we will see a major period of chaos either way.  There is no way around it.  People need to decide if they want to just bite the bullet and accept what is to come and start the process of getting back our country and our Constitution now or continuing to wait on the sidelines while politicians continue to lie and cheat us on a daily basis and then only doing something when the collapse is forced upon us by some other event.

It is going to happen.  The question we all have out here though is WHEN, and what will be the catalyst that sets it off... and more important, will I be ready when it does.  And because of that even I have been taking steps to prepare for what I feel is coming sooner rather than later.  How many of you are doing the same?
