Our once great nation has fallen...
An open letter to my friends and to all Americans.. I think we have crossed the point where any hope of recovering what America used to be and recovering any of the Constitutional freedoms we were given that have been taken away, is gone.
I do not think the America I grew up in exists anymore. And I do not think the Constitution has any chance of recovering from the damage that has been wrought upon it. Liberal elite views, greed (both personal and corporate), on the take politicians, and simply people who do not care have destroyed any chance of what our founding fathers gave us, from returning.
From the decay of the Constitution to the erosion of faith to the illusion that our vote counts, we have been suckered into a system that wants us to keep our mouths shut, wants us to pay every dime we can into the coffers of the elite political and corporate rich, and wants us to live by their morals, rules and regulations and not those of a simple human being who has the free will to choose.
For the past couple years I have talked about this. I have read about this. I have tried my best to wake people up using my voice, my opinions and the historical lessons of the past... and I have come to realize it does not make a damn bit of difference. Not one.
The political establishment is no longer for the people, by the people. It is now for the rich, by the rich. It is all about power and control. Nothing more, nothing less. Washington D.C. does not care at all about us, about we the people. It does not care at all what their actions are doing to this nation. They do not care in the slightest that they have literally ripped up the U.S. Constitution and what it meant. They do not care about anything but themselves and that they are able maintain control over all of us and everything we do.
We have a LIAR and bigot for a president. Someone that should have been removed from office after the very first time he got on LIVE TV and lied to our faces. But no, here we are now years later where it is obvious to everyone that what he is doing and the decisions he is making are completely opposite of what the American citizens have told him they want.
Yet he continues to do whatever he feels like regardless. But you know what is even worse than that? Both the congress and senate and even the supreme court, continue to play the American people with fake 'anger' about all this. Instead of upholding the oath these politicians and others in office took, they are more interested in covering their own asses, taking in more bribes and conveniently ignoring what is taking place and doing NOTHING to stop it.
We now have a Supreme court doing the same thing.. The one thing I personally still kept hope for, that could correct some of this. But in recent decisions, it has become apparent to me that they too are no longer trustworthy. Some of their most recent decisions have just destroyed very important parts of the U.S. Constitution. The 4th Amendment being the latest one.
I have watched the Supreme Court make decisions that have stripped away even some of the most basic HUMAN RIGHTS a person with free will should have. Other decisions have stripped away those any free person should enjoy regardless. And they do not blink an eye doing it. And when they even refuse to hear a case... that pretty much says it all right there.
Today we live in a country where MY free will, my RIGHT to choose, my RIGHT to live as I want to live... according to the government, according to gay and lesbian groups, according to atheist groups, according to Facebook and its little minions sitting in their cubicles... according to all of those in power I no longer have the right to be free and to make decisions for myself. Now all my decisions, all my morals, all my ideals and my very freedoms are to be determined by them and only them.
It is legal for the government to take my money, take my property, take my possessions and take my freedom without due process yet it is illegal for me to walk into the Congress or the capital to confront those I elected to redress my grievances in person per the very Constitution that allows it. Step across that line or gate and you are now immediately labeled a terrorist threat, locked up and labeled mentally unstable... even though our own founding documents CLEARLY state that is every single American citizen's right to do... to redress our grievances to our elected officials in the people's house at any time.
It is legal to kill another human being in America as long as you do it on the terms of those in power, of course. It is fully legal for the 'state' to kill an unborn child... yet it is illegal for me to kill someone that rapes and kills my own child or family member in their defense in many places.
No. Today in America THEY will decide what I can and cannot do, what is right or wrong, what is real or fake, what is good for me or not, what I can say or not say..... Regardless of whether it is or not, THEY now decide all of this for us. And then pass laws to insure we are required to obey or else.
I can no longer catch rain water for my own use. Why? Because the government owns the rain water, people are now in jail for doing so. I can no longer refuse to support something I am morally against because it would hurt the feeling of someone I disagree with, i.e. I think the gay lifestyle is not natural therefore I will not support it... thus my home, my business, my way of life are forfeit because I do not have that right to think or have my own feelings about it any longer in this country.
I can no longer choose to drink natural milk, eat natural foods, provide for my own from nature because it takes away profits from the large corporations. I can no longer grow my own food and share it with my friends and family because the major corporations genetically modified food profits would be hurt.
And soon it will be by government force where they will be able to put INTO our bodies whatever they so dictate. Vaccines, tracking chips, whatever they can come up with, mark my words the day is coming where the WILL make it illegal to refuse.
I can no longer speak freely using terms such as Patriot, Constitution, and freedom without being monitored on some government list. I can no longer speak ILL of my government because now according to that same government and their brainwashing being taught in our schools and now even with some major media outlets, that is subversive, anti-government, harmful and revolutionary.
I can no longer display the flag or stand proudly as an American, I can no longer defend our flag and the honor it used to represent and all those that fell defending it of which it used to represent. I can no longer say the pledge of allegiance or recite a prayer or wear a shirt that is patriotic because it might OFFEND someone who is not even FROM my country.
Today those in control demand others report us if we use cash to buy large ticket items, make large deposits or withdrawals. Today those in control, make us pay MONEY just to use OUR money! Today those in control impose new taxes, tariffs, fees and duties without ANY representation of the people what so ever... the very thing that caused the revolution that gave us our country and our Constitution.
A 2% tea tax founded this country. Yet today we pay more in taxes, fees and other things to the government than we ever get to take home and enjoy from our hard work. Heck, we even pay new taxes to build new stadiums and new buildings for private for profit companies yet our small businesses cannot demand a taxpayer subsidy for our own use..
We pay to build new sports complexes for PRIVATE owned for profit sports. We pay subsidies to big oil and other corporations even as they report BILLIONS in profits each quarter..... we are forced to pay for some other rich persons new place so they can reap in more profit...
We send trillions of dollars over seas for other governments to pay their bills.. yet we cannot do the same in our own country. And this all happens without ANY representation of the people in these decisions by those in power.
We bring in multitudes of illegal immigrants then GIVE them free money, homes, cars, and benefits they have not earned while at the same time demanding we citizens pay more, give up more, and change our traditions and heritage because it might offend them.... yet our Veterans go with out and in fact have benefits being taken away more and more.
We have millions of homeless on the streets that we have no money to help yet we have plenty of money to take care of illegal immigrants. We have plenty of money to give those who refuse to work and live on welfare yet we have no money to fix roads and bridges or other needed infrastructure.
We have government seizing personal land, personal property and out right taking peoples homes without due process yet when we fight back, every ounce of power the government can bring to bear is brought forth against those that do stand and fight.
And we allow a private for profit bank and small group of UN-ELECTED people to control and dictate how much our money is worth, how much is spent, how much we the people pay to them in return interest, while they print more and more of it based on no actual value to line their pockets with. We allow them to tell us how much something is valued through the stock market system which has no bearing at all on actual supply and demand. It is illegal for the people to operate a ponzi scheme yet perfectly fine for the government and major banks to do so with OUR money.
And of course they bail out other major banks and corporations with loans using OUR money so that the profits they take in are not impacted regardless of how many Americans lose everything they have from their own savings, retirement accounts and self worth.
In essence, I, like all of you, am no longer what used to be known as a proud, fierce and honorable American Citizen. A man who served his country honorably standing by and believing in what he was taught as a child and in the very oath he chose to take as a man. No, today I am nothing but a tin foil hat wearing nutcase that is delusional and imagining everything I just wrote. I am nothing more than a minion here solely for the purpose of providing for those in control and those with the power to retain it.
Today I realized that everything I grew up with, everything my parents taught me, everything I have believed in, fought for and lived by... all of it... is fake and that which is not fake, is gone. But even worse, all of it is a lie.
We screwed it up. And if you really sit down, if you really HONESTLY think about it... think about it from your days as a child through this moment... you too will realize what we have done to ourselves... and what we have lost and most likely will never again have, let alone regain.
Those we have put in power have used their own greed, their own selfishness and their own skewed sense of morality to bring themselves everything they ever desired... while stripping away those same things from the rest of us.
They have the power. They have the money. They have the control.
And when we the people act up or speak out, they simply write themselves a new law or regulation making that illegal too... to bring us all back into conformity with THEIR ideals of how WE WILL live our lives under their rule.
And while more and more people have been speaking out, they have changed those rules now too. Today we see more and more use of the term, "homegrown terrorism". Today we see more and more people being arrested and being thrown in jail with charges like 'terroristic threats' and aiding terrorist groups etc. Where a few years ago even, those same charges would have simply been 'threatening bodily harm' or insulting or racist comments, today more and more of these charges all come with the label of 'terroristic threat' or terroristic planning or terroristic actions.
And as I sit here and write this, I realize that it is only going to get worse. Some people will read this and agree with me. Others will read this and again simply laugh it off and place me too into that category of nut case tin foil hat wearing idiots....
.... and with that comes the realization for me that we truly have lost everything this country ever stood for. That we have indeed shredded the sacrifice of so many before us... and that the future of this once great nation and we as a people has only one path before it.. our full and complete downfall and thus being relegated to the annals of history as something that once was, but like so many others fell because of the greed of a few and the unwillingness of the majority to actually stand up and do something about it.. to actually take a stand and say NO more.
Personally, there is no way to fix it. We waited too long, we gave up too much and we allowed this to happen without any fight what so ever.
I used to tell people that voting could change things. That raising our voices could make a difference. But I now know that is no longer true nor an option. When elections are determined by the amount of BILLIONS SPENT, that should tell even the most die-hard of you in denial that something is wrong.
There is only one way for us to get back all that we have given up... and sadly, the truth is we are all too much the coward to do what is needed to make that happen.
I see and hear every day people talk about these things. I even read and hear people say that a revolution is the way to bring change about. And to clarify, revolution does not REQUIRE nor necessitate grabbing a gun and starting a war. Revolution can be in many forms. In fact armed revolution should be the very LAST most dire and final solution taken... as happened that founded this very country and gave us the Constitution and the freedoms it protected at one time.
But what about people simply saying NO! What if tomorrow everyone stayed home from work? What if tomorrow everyone said to those in control, we are not paying another dime into the coffers until you stop sending our money overseas to prop up other nations, until you stop spending our money on pork projects, until you BALANCE the budget, until you cancel this program or that program, until you repeal this unconstitutional law or repeal that regulation that we the people made clear we did NOT agree to?
What if the majority stood as ONE people, ONE voice and simply refused to follow or do that which the few in power have dictated to us? That is a form of revolution. And I would be willing to bet, change would very quickly be forthcoming.
But it will most likely not happen. Why? It is not because there are not those out there willing to take that step.. no that is not why. The reason is because while one brave American may actually stand and take the first step, NONE of us is willing to follow them.
We talk big, we shake our fists but when that one person actually stands and says, ok let's do what must be done for our future, the rest of us stand there, look around, look at each other, then bow our heads and slink back to our lives because we are afraid....
And the others who do nothing, simply refuse to engage.. 'Let someone else' do it. 'it does not impact me so I will just ignore it'. or even 'it's not that bad. I see no reason to get involved'. And of course those that truly think everything is just fine and they see no reason to change anything.. and in fact applaud and want someone to dictate every little nuance of their lives.
and it is THAT power that keeps those holding all of this over us, it is all of the above that keeps those few IN power and IN control.
Sadly, very few people will read what I have written here. And even fewer will think about it for more than a few minutes... and it too will be forever relegated to the past as one sole man's thoughts in passing...
... and that, I am afraid, is exactly what these United States of America have become... a idea relegated to history in passing that only a few stood to defend.. and NONE stood to save.
